Welcome to Clare and Daniel's page
Clare is a Lecturer (Teaching and Scholarship) in Geographical Information Systems, Librarian, Map curator and Web programmer at the School of Earth and Environment of Leeds University. In her spare time, she sings with Leeds Festival Chorus and St. Peters' Singers. She is a skilled worker of various forms of lace.
Daniel (Dan) also works at Leeds University, as Senior Teaching Fellow and repetiteur [part-time] in the School of Music. He is the Accompanist and Assistant Chorus-Master of Huddersfield Choral Society, and Conductor of the Huddersfield Singers. As pianist, organist and choral director, groups he has worked with regularly include Black Dyke Band, the CBSO chorus, Leeds Festival Chorus, Adel Parish Church, and the Leeds Hospitals Trust.
We live in Kirkstall and tend an allotment at Headingley Station. We're interested in natural history, history, and the landscape of Britain, particularly the Highlands, and have written a few trip-reports on our blog page on the WalkHighlands website.
Please e-mail any requests or comments about this site to us at our home address, if you have it. Otherwise please use Daniel's university address, D.R.H.Gordon@leeds.ac.uk. Thank you.
