Materials
3 mm needles.
Jamieson and Smith 2-ply Shetland Supreme.
Colours:
Main = Fawn
Others = Natural White; Moorit; Shetland Black; Grey
Notes
Used field of flowers pattern as centre.
Edging - Wave edging from Heirloom Knitting, p.118
17/12/11 - finished except for sewing in ends. And of course it needs blocking. Colours in photo a bit on the pale side.
26/12/11 - Once blocked looks much better, and the wool has softened up beautifully.
Given to my mother-in-law for her birthday and she loved it.
18/6/12 - interestingly she prefers what I’d consider the “wrong side” and always wears it “inside out”! Never mind, she wears it and gets plenty of compliments.
