Cabled slip-stitch socks

Very clever construction for stretchy and comfortable crochet socks.

Started: 25th March 2016
Finished: 17th August 2016

Pattern

Cabled slip stitch socks by Anna Lindmark (Ravelry link)

Materials

West Yorkshire Spinners Signature 4 Ply - shade 360, Bubblegum  - bright turquoise! (Left overs from Freya's hat.)

3.5 mm hook for slip stitch, 2 mm hook for dc.

Notes

Very clever use of short-row slip stitch to create the cables.  It took me a while to get the hang of it, but I really enjoyed making these socks.

The slip stitch makes them very stretchy and very comfortable fit.  Maybe a bit loose for wearing in shoes, but great at home.

Ran out of the turquoise wool so the toes are in a different colour, though that was also left over from Freya's hat.
