Spiral baby blanket
A fun blanket with marine wildlife applique.

Materials
King Cole Merino DK - white, lilac, pale blue and pale green.
6 mm hook
Notes
Managed to work out how to use 4 colours rather than just 2 by using instructions for ”How to crochet a 4 colour spiral”, really happy with how it turned out.
Edging is darker shade of green/blue treble scallops.
Finished blanket itself 20th May 2016.
Added 6 crochet appliques - rather more fiddly than the blanket but made it fun! A lizard; a dolphin; a sea horse; a crab; an angel fish; and a star fish.

Diameter = 68 cm.
Blanket and appliques weigh 240g in total.
Made for Jacob - new baby next door. Kay and Adam seemed really pleased with it.
