Loving the extended double stitch (UK style!). Must remember this for future use.

Despite using heavier yarn than the original my gauge was spot on!
Originally started completely in white, but realised didn't have enough wood to do entire hat, so undid it and added khaki and did a swirl instead. Very happy with it.
