baa ram ewe Titus - colour = Endeavour (blue)
3.75 mm hook
Notes
Started with 3.5mm hook and L size, but wasn’t going to be big enough.

But next version, with 3.75 mm hook and XL size was going to be far too big.
Try 3.75 mm hook and M size.

It looks as if 3.75mm hook, M size, and extended treble stitches is finally going to work out at the right size! My stitch gauge was basically right, but row gauge was too small.

Finished! After all that re-doing I finally managed. The way the sleeves are done is really clever, but I did end up doing both sleeve caps twice before I got them right. Waist ribbing took a bit of counting before I became reliable with the number of stitches - in the end stitch markers in the first and last stitches of each row until I got the hang of how they were supposed to look.
Did 32 rows on each sleeve, decreasing every 6th row up until row 30.
Lengthened the body by just a few rows (stupidly didn’t make a note of how many). Has ended up covering my hips, which is what I wanted, but why I used the 3.75 mm hook for the waist ribbing - I didn’t want it to pull in too much.
Used 3.25 mm hook just for the last two rows of the neck edging and button bands.
Now I just need to buy some buttons.

Buttons from John Lewis in Leeds. Silver metallic - may be a little too heavy, but look very nice.

Was finding that the neck was stretching and the sleeves were becoming too long. Crocheted slip stitch around the neckline as suggested at TechKnitting and it has helped a lot. Looks attractive too. Cardi much more comfortable now.
