Materials
5.0 mm hook.
Ewe & Ply Shropshire Luxury 4 ply - Blue. - 4 skeins = 660.0 metres. Bought from Ewe & Ply in the Market Hall in Shrewsbury.
The yarn is a gorgeous mixed blue colour - all British and kettle dyed by Ewe & Ply.
85% Romney Lambswool
10% British combed angora
5% Blue Leicester
Notes
Changed the pattern of the lacy part as the number of stitches into one place was looking rather heavy in this wool. Undid, and then did a ripple pattern in treble stitches which was basically 2 tr into next st x 3, miss 1 st, then tr into next st, miss 1 st and repeat 4 more times; 2 tr into next st x 3.
Gives a good feather and fan effect.
Now just awaiting blocking! Photo shows it before it is blocked.
