Woven background
A woven background made on a cardboard loom.

Otherwise didn't really use a pattern.
Materials
Wild field fibre hand-dyed Yarns - Sky gradient set - 3 colours. 4-ply weight, 100% Blue-faced Leicester, superwash wool.
Notes
Made to use as a background on which to display a variety of buttons. Buttons attached with knotted threads so that they remain easily removable.
Easy and satisfying to make. Next time don't pull threads horizontally - did pull in at sides.
Don't aim to finish too close to end of loom as it becomes difficult to get threads through.
I attached the buttons by stitching through and knotting at the back so that they will be easy to remove. Looks really effective.
Attached a green aluminium crochet hook at the top and attached thread to hang this with. No idea where the crochet hook came from but it works!
