Thread wrapped buttons
Wrapping threads around buttons has endless variations.

Pattern
Gina Barrett (2021), Thread wrapped buttons.
Materials
Wooden and mounting card circles.
Thread: DMC Perle size 8 or 5; Finca perle size 12.
Notes
For these trial buttons I made my own button forms by cutting circles from mount card. They worked surprisingly well.
This can be quite fiddly. Sometimes difficult to get the threads to stay on the button forms!
