King Cole Merino Blend DK, shade 48 - black. 10 skeins.
4.5; 5 and 6 mm hooks

Was intended to keep me warm during concerts in cold churches, and it does that very successfully. Must remember to take it to Sheffield Cathedral on Saturday - just in case!

Finished! Fits well, and feels comfy.
Sleeves a little long - could do with being about 3cm shorter, but not unwearable.
Fastening as given in pattern isn’t going to keep the cardi done up. I’ll think about it, press stud?
Now I just need to be at home in daylight to take photographs.

Finished body, and it fits.
Started first sleeve. Decided not to put clusters on my wrists, so have started with row 6 - the row of single crochet.

Have realised that this is going to be just slightly too small when using 5.5mm hook. Am going to try again using 6mm - I should have trusted my swatch!

Initial rows of clusters work out very long! Rows 7 and 8 pull them in quite a bit.
