Notes
Couldn’t get gauge with this yarn so had to work it out for myself to some extent. Wanted a relatively relaxed fit, but that did mean that I needed to decrease rapidly before the yoke pattern stitches so that the neckline wasn’t baggy. Still have a little bagginess, but hopefully it will relax a bit once I’ve washed it.
If I did something like this again I think I'd like to do some short rows at the back neck before starting the yoke pattern so that the back neck is a bit higher.
March 2015 - have worn this a fair amount, but it is a very warm jumper so not too often!!!
May 2021 - The jumper got a moth hole right on the front while it still had plenty of wear left in it. It's been sitting in a plastic bag ever since while I tried to decide what to do. Today I crocheted a flower and sewed it over the hole. It looks pretty good, but I think I'm going to do a bit of embroidery too, to make it look a bit more intentional.
